The lightweight construction team develops, builds and produces fiber compound parts of any complexity, from basic paneling to structural components. We produce wet laminate, prepreg and injection parts in clean room quality and on demand, with FE computation. Flexible employees and a variety of production options (for example, autoclaves ranging from 0.5 to six meters in length) ensure optimal order processing. The forms and initial mock-ups are made by the in-house modelling department, thus we can guarantee the fastest turnaround and utmost confidentiality.
Gerg has developed a new technology, known as VPL (Vacuum Press Laminate) for manufacturing of CFK-Parts with mouldface-surfaces for the interior and exterior part. The main features of this technology is the very high stiffness, dimensional accuracy and high-class surface quality of the produced laminate, as well as the high temperature resistance (up to 240 degrees). This is particularly suitable for parts with complex contours or undercuts (e.g. pipes, brackets).
